The TC03 control system was
designed with this in mind.
Data is stored in a standard Microsoft SQL Server2000 format for ease of integration into the plant wide MES system.
Recipes can be stored in one central location and downloaded to individual machine via the Ethernet network.
Web based utilities are available from Siemens that can enable relevant production data to be shared over plant wide intranet or via World Wide Web.
Production information can be made available to other departments for automated PM scheduling, raw material ordering, production scheduling, etc…
Plant Floor Data can easily be integrated into IT & MES systems to aid in production scheduling, supply chain management and integration into enterprise level applications
